Many people believe domains are becoming less important because of AI, social media, and modern platforms. I see things differently. Domains remain one of the few digital assets that individuals truly control. They are names, identities, addresses, and sometimes the starting point of something much bigger.
Why I Still Believe
Some people collect watches.
Some people buy gold.
Some people spend €5 on coffee every morning.
I buy domain names.
Over the years, I have heard many predictions: websites are dead, blogs are dead, email is dead, domains are dead.
Yet somehow, businesses still need websites. People still use email. Startups still search for names. And every serious online project still needs an address.
A domain is more than a technical requirement.
It is a place on the internet that belongs to you.
Not rented.
Not borrowed.
Not controlled by an algorithm.
AI may generate websites faster than ever, but it cannot replace identity. In a world filled with millions of new projects, memorable names become even more important.
That is why I still believe in domains.
Not because every domain is valuable.
Not because every registration is an investment.
But because domains represent ownership, independence, and possibility.
And every worthwhile project starts with a simple idea and a place to build it.
